Background

Prior to joining the School of Adventure Studies, I was a full-time strength and conditioning coach. I have worked with athletes from a wide of sports including LeAF Studio School, US Ski Team, Sportscotland Institute of Sport and University of Stirling International Sport Scholarship Programme.

Teaching Responsibilities

I teach a range of Sports Coaching and Sports Science modules:

  • Module Leader - Advanced Applications of Coaching and Instruction
  • Module Leader - Introduction to Sports Coaching and Leadership
  • Module Leader – Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology  
  • Module Tutor – Sport and Exercise Physiology
  • Module Tutor – Principles of Sport and Exercise Psychology
  • Module Tutor – Strength and Conditioning
  • Module Tutor – Research Methods (Sport and Fitness)

What is your main outdoor interest? 

Skiing, Mountaineering and other ways of moving in the mountains.
