Liam is a highly qualified musician and teacher with a BA (Hons) in Applied Music and an MA in Music and the Environment. Alongside his teaching, he is an active creative and touring musician and regularly works with organisations such as Fèis Rois, as well as teaching across the country.
As a performer, Liam has played at a wide range of venues and festivals including Celtic Connections Festival, Belladrum Tartan Heart, and internationally in Romania and the Netherlands. He continues to perform regularly throughout the UK.
Liam’s first full-length album, Hearts and Faces and Abandoned Spaces, was long-listed for Trad Album of the Year 2020. Following its success, he is currently working on his second album, Slope of Light, which is inspired by his grandparents’ crofting life in the Black Isle.
