Funding your travel to college

If you live two miles or more from your college campus you may be eligible for assistance with travel to college and/or placement.   

• If you are under 18 years of age on the day the course starts assistance with travel is not means-tested. 
• If you are 18 years of age or over on the day the course starts assistance with travel costs is means-tested. 

Under 22’s travel free by bus in Scotland Young Persons' Free Bus Travel Scheme | Transport Scotland.

Mileage is calculated at 0.22p per mile. Please note we require a funding application.
