UHI North West and Hebrides, Cnoc Soilleir centre

Cnoc Soilleir is an exciting joint venture between Ceòlas Uibhist and UHI North, West and Hebrides. Located in the heart of Gaelic culture in South Uist, Cnoc Soilleir is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the community’s rich Gaelic heritage.

Meaning "Bright Hill," Cnoc Soilleir refers to both the building and its picturesque setting on a bend in Daliburgh, South Uist. The centre's facilities have been designed to support the needs of our music and Gaelic educational programmes, and Ceòlas’s community-driven initiatives in Gaelic language learning, heritage, culture, music, and dance.
