Student Story

“Studying the level 3 veterinary nursing course at UHI North Highland was the best way to start my career in the veterinary industry. It had a great balance of practical and theory learning while still providing holiday time so that I could work to earn money, unlike other courses that require students to complete practice placements during college holidays. Since graduating I have gone to work in The Gambia for a year with cats, dogs, equines and wildlife and my qualification is now taking me to Thailand. Studying with UHI NH has opened many doors and created great career opportunities and I would recommend it to anyone who dreams of working with animals."
