A Modern Apprenticeship provides you with vocational training relevant to your employment, so you can earn while you learn and gain a recognised qualification while in work.
Open to anyone living in Scotland aged 16-24, in employment and who wishes to work towards industry-recognised accreditation, Modern Apprenticeships offer individuals the opportunity to train as a craftsperson or for a technical or managerial role.
UHI North, West and Hebrides works closely with Skills Development Scotland and a variety of sector skills councils to offers a range of modern apprenticeships in the following disciplines:
