Position: We are seeking a Café Cook/ Supervisor to be based at our Thurso Campus.
Responsibilities: The post holders will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of cost efficient, good quality catering for College students, staff and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the ordering of stock and ingredients ensuring all aspects of health & safety and compliance with statutory requirements in relation to food operations are adhered to. You will line manage and supervise our team of Café Assistants to ensure a professional service is delivered.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will hold industry related qualifications and have experience in working in a kitchen environment. You should be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. Supervisory experience is preferred. Experience in budget management would be advantageous.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
Salary: £30,177 per annum, pro rata
