What is special about this course?

Are you interested in sculpture? Would you like to experiment with a variety of materials including wire, clay, plaster, recycled and found objects to create your own three-dimensional work? All work is project-based and you will be encouraged to research sculptors and artists to inspire your practice and develop your practical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of a range of sculptural techniques. By exploring textures and form through drawing and sketchbook work you will develop a body of work and skills in refining and presenting your project work. Your artwork will be included in the end-of-year student exhibition.

This course is suitable for those with a keen interest in Art and who have skills in drawing and wish to further develop work. It is also open to those with limited experience of art who are looking to enter further education at an introductory level, or looking to study for leisure.
