Student Funding Assistant

Position: We are seeking a Student Funding Assistant, to be based at either our Fort William, Stornoway or Thurso Campus’, however, consideration would be given to our other centres.

Responsibilities: Working as part of geographically dispersed team, the post holder will be responsible for providing an advisory and administrative service to students regarding all sources of funding support providing an effective, high-quality service that meets the needs of all learners.   The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of student funding processes, providing an effective, accurate, confidential and timely funding service to students and ensuring all student records are maintained for purposes of audit and accountability. The post holder will also be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, working flexibly within the Student Services Team.  

Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will hold a relevant qualification in the subject area - at minimum SCQF Level 6. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills and have experience in working as part of a team.

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
