Position: Are you passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment? We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Worker based at our Thurso campus to play a key role in empowering students to thrive—academically, personally, and emotionally. You’ll be the first point of contact for learners with additional needs, helping identify the right support and guiding them with empathy and expertise throughout their education journey.
Responsibilities: As a key player in our Student Services Team, you'll be at the heart of delivering a learner-focused support service. From coordinating learning support and providing tailored guidance to championing mental health and wellbeing, you’ll help create an inclusive and empowering environment for our students.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will have SCQF Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in an appropriate area, demonstrable knowledge and successful experience of delivering high quality student services and an understanding of safeguarding procedures.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
Salary: £28,453 - £29,753 per annum
Location: Thurso
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent Contract
