Position: We are seeking an HR Assistant to be based at our Stornoway campus.
Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for maintaining HR employee records, administration of the HR data information system, assisting with administration of recruitment and selection processes, issuing and reviewing employee contracts, collating data and producing reports, and maintaining a high level of customer service and respecting the confidentiality of all information handled in line with data protection policies.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Experience of using an HR/Payroll system is
essential, alongside excellent written and communication skills with a focus on attention to detail, strong IT skills and a flexible approach to work. Importantly, you should have a willingness to learn and proactively contribute and participate in training to enhance your own personal development.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
