A Geography and Sustainability residential

This online session will introduce our Geography, Sustainability and Professional Development study options starting in January and September 2026.

You will learn how the knowledge and skills developed through our Geography and Sustainability degrees and professional development programmes connect to a broad range of careers, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste and resource management, tourism, rural and community development, agriculture, local government, planning, logistics and roles within environmental agencies.

During this session, you can:

  • Hear directly from our expert lecturers and discover where Geography and Sustainable Development can take you
  • Discover flexible online study options that can fit around your life.
  • Find out about entry requirements, UCAS applications and the support available to help you succeed.
  • Ask questions and get real insight into what it is like to study at UHI North West and Hebrides.

Students can combine their interest in Sustainable Development or Geography with other Humanities subjects in a range of Joint Honours degrees, including Archaeology, Criminology, Culture and Heritage, Gaelic, History, Literature, and Politics.
