Discover how studying with us can prepare you for a meaningful career in the growing green sector. 

From our lecturers in Stornoway, you will learn how the knowledge and skills taught in our Geography and Sustainability degrees and professional development programmes, are relevant to a wide range of careers - including renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management, tourism, rural and community development, agriculture, local government, planning, logistics, and environmental agencies.

During this session, you can:

  • Hear directly from lecturers in Stornoway and discover where Geography and Sustainable Development can take you
  • Discover how flexible study options can fit around your life.
  • Find out about entry requirements, UCAS applications and the support available to help you succeed.
  • Ask questions and get real insight into what it is like to study with us.

Students can combine their interest in Sustainable Development or Geography with other Humanities subjects in a range of Joint Honours degrees, including Archaeology, Criminology, Culture and Heritage, Gaelic, History, Literature, and Politics.
