ROV training with UHI North, West and Hebrides and DRIFT Offshore
We’ve joined with training specialist DRIFT Offshore to develop and deliver a new, industry-aligned course to equip students with the essential technical knowledge and career access to enter the fast-growing subsea and offshore sectors.
The ROV industry offers a variety of roles from piloting and maintaining the vehicles to developing new technologies and you’ll be joining a sector that is rapidly evolving, offering a wide range of dynamic and engaging career opportunities.
This introductory training course will be based at our Fort William campus on Loch Linnhe, focused on the operation of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), trenching and subsea equipment.
The course will align quality assurance to both SQA and the industry standards recommended by the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) and will launch in summer 2025.
