Armed Forces Pledge - Bronze Award

content

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation to those who serve or who have served, and their families, which says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives.

The college has undertaken a Pledge for UHI North, West and Hebrides to demonstrate that it is an “armed forces friendly” organisation.  It sets out the college’s commitment to the principles of the Covenant such as supporting veterans, the spouses of serving military personnel and staff members involved with cadet training.

We were honoured to be presented with our official Bronze Award Certificate acknowledging the Pledge when Ray Watt, Regional Employer Engagement Director visited our Fort William Campus back in December.
