I have worked and become qualified in the care sector for sixteen years. Throughout the pandemic I felt I needed a change of career. I wanted to enhance my knowledge and digital skills in the business sector. I felt this course would be beneficial in improving my transferable skills, gain a recognised qualification and keep up to date with my professional development.
I would highly recommend this course. Whether you’re just starting out and looking for career options or wanting to improve your digital or office skills. The best thing for me was how it has improved my confidence. I would normally avoid using Excel, PowerPoint etc however I’ve loved using these. We’ve had amazing support from the lecturers. The course was perfect being online as I could be at home with my son, as well as study, home school and everything in-between.
I would like to continue studying part-time and I’m considering applying for HNC Business.

I chose to do this course as the content was super relevant to the modern workplace and it contained skills that will help me develop. I have enjoyed it immensely especially the variety of different subjects such as Office packages, Human Resources, and Promoting a Business. There is something for everyone.
The lecturers on the course were really accommodating towards my personal needs and they went over and above to make sure they supported every student on the course get through the year. I managed to carry on working while studying.
Upon completion of NQ Business, Administration and Marketing, I would like to study HNC Administration and Information Technology. The skills that I have gained from completing this course have been invaluable and will help me to build a career.
